Cut

How Close Are Our Diamonds Simulants To A Natural Diamond?
One of the most common questions we receive at ORRO is how close our diamond simulants are to natural or ORRO Certified Lab Grown diamonds. We are proud to say that our stones are virtually indistinguishable from genuine diamonds under normal circumstances, even to the trained eye of a professional diamond dealer. In fact, we have impressed many dealers with our stones, without the need for a magnification loupe.
While it is possible for an experienced gemologist with a microscope loupe to distinguish between our diamond simulants and genuine diamonds, the naked eye cannot tell the difference. This level of similarity is a testament to our commitment to producing lab-grown gemstones that meet or exceed the same standards and benchmarks as naturally mined diamonds.
Our diamond simulants also have a high level of hardness, measuring between 8.5 to 9.0 on the Mohs scale, which is on par with or exceeds the hardness of other precious stones such as sapphire and ruby. Therefore, our customers can be confident that they are receiving a high-quality product that closely resembles a natural diamond in both appearance and durability.
